How to Survive Breast Cancer

Karin Greenberg

In this episode, my guest is Karin Greenberg: a mother of two, creator and host of the successful video series Get-T-know, and a breast cancer survivor.

She is kind enough to give us an insight into her journey with breast cancer, from her diagnosis to recovery, as well as her coping mechanisms and the methods that have helped her during this time. We talk about the significant effects your mindset has when in remission, how to turn the negative into positive, and how one can come out of this experience stronger.

Karin was brought up in Tel Aviv and moved to London with her love and being the mother of two beautiful girls and a strong interest in fashion and beauty, as well as working in the industry. She was enjoying life considerably. Then one day, her life changed. Upside down.

At the end of June of 2020, she was diagnosed with breast cancer which spread to her armpit. Within two weeks, she started a long journey that she had never imagined.

Listen to her share some very wise words and take them on board:

Be flexible in mind. Things change. Be kind to yourself. Don’t beat yourself up. Hug yourself. It is okay to not be okay. Feel it and come out stronger. Let go of control, be grateful, and embrace life.

I hope that you enjoy listening to this uplifting recovery story. It is amazing how the power of the mind is so decisive when it comes to health. The power of making the right choices is very important too. With that in mind, I have created a cancer recovery section which is part of the specialized advice section included in the premium membership on the Eat Burn Sleep platform.

If you are a member, I advise you to read it for educational purposes. It is important to understand how cancer works for prevention purposes.
