Sesamin and sesamolin are powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich lignins (beneficial fibers) in sesame seeds and they aid in lowering cholesterol and preventing high blood pressure.

Balancing hormones, removing toxins, promoting great skin and hair, these tiny seeds also taste amazing in tahini and combined with lemon, salt, olive oil and maple syrup – what a wonderful dip!


  • 1/2 cup or 125g of tahini
  • 1/2 cup or 125ml of water
  • juice of 1 or 2 lemons
  • 1 tsps of sea salt
  • 1 tbsps of olive oil
  • 1 tbsps of maple syrup


  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and whisk until well combined.

Serving Tips

Perfect to use as a dip with crudités (carrot sticks, celery sticks, fennel, cherry tomatoes, cucumber), as a dressing on salads, or roasted vegetables such as carrots, eggplants, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and zucchini.

Storage Tips

Keep it in the fridge for up to 14 days.
