I made it today with chicken mince - as you recommended tiny bit more oil and more tomatoe juice plus tiny bit more of the spices (to my taste). Texture was understandable slightly different but it was as nice as it is with beef.

hello! this is different but it definitely works very well with chicken mince too! enjoy! I will publish the other recipe soon :-)

es absolutely, but because chicken mince has less fat, you may want to add a splash more olive oil or even a little stock/tomato juice while cooking to keep it from drying out. Let us know how it turns out!

I’ve seen Yalda on Instagram make one pan chicken similar to this. Would this recipe wotk with chicken mince instead? Or was it something completely different
09/10/25Lara - EBS
Hi Sarah, we have reviewed this recipe again and have updated it to serve 6. When Yalda made it, her teenagers ate rather a large person hence at the time thinking it only served 4! Your portions sizes might now be more realistic for a 6 person serving size. Thank you for reaching out to check, we also appreciate it.

No I did half the meat but was alot for 2 people so I knoy served half of it. I normally only use 450g mince in spaghetti bolognaise for 4 people. I guess 450g for 2 people keeps you fuller longer is that why it uses so much more mince?

Hi Sarah, this recipe serves 4 people. Did you share between 2 because then it would be a lot.

Bedure EBS I used to make bolognaise with 450g beef that served 4 people. This uses double that, is that correct? Appreciate it’s a full meal. I made it and it was delicious but only used one pack of mince and was a lot for 2 people.

Just made this for my family for supper - first meal from EBS. It was stupendous! Even my littlest likes it.

This was so delicious! I forgot to buy canned tomatoes so I just used some fresh cherry tomatoes and a bit of broth. I will be making this again!

This would be as a side dish. Either is fine.

" Feel free to add some good carbs such as quinoa or sweet potatoes". At what step would you recommend for either of these or both, ty?
