Ingredients
- For 4 Medium Burgers
- 450g or 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- Salt & pepper
- For the Broccolini
- 450g or 1 pound of tender-stem broccoli/broccolini
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Condiment: Wholegrain mustard (optional)
Directions
- Mix the beef with some salt, pepper, and a whole egg. An egg is a great replacement for bread crumbs in burger recipes. Form 4 medium-sized balls in the palm of your hands and flatten them into patties. Place the beef patties in a roasting dish under the grill in your oven. Turn over after they look cooked on one side and cook them to your liking. Place the broccolini in a roasting dish with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and sea salt to taste. Place under the grill once you have turned your patties over and cook both until ready (about 5 minutes or so)
