Managing Crohn’s, Colitis & Diverticulitis
If you suffer from Crohn’s, Colitis, Celiac Disease or Diverticulitis, you’ve stumbled upon the right video to watch.
My name is Yalda Alaoui, I’m an inflammation Pioneer, Nutritional Therapist and I suffer from ulcerative colitis, which is an inflammatory bowel disease.
I was diagnosed with colitis back in 2007 and I did over 10 years of research to fix my issues. Doctors put me on corticosteroids, mesalamine, immunosuppressants, and biological drugs.
I was given Infliximab – it didn’t work on me. No drug worked on me, and not only did I suffer from colitis, but I developed over time, in 2012, a second autoimmune disease called autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
The reason for this is when you have inflammation going in your body, it can trigger so many inflammatory diseases. That’s why people with autoimmune issues like I do sometimes have what I call a collection of diseases. They might have Crohn’s and psoriasis and lupus or whatever – there are so many terrible diseases out there linked to chronic inflammation.
My method has helped me become medication-free and has helped thousands of people around the world. If you are suffering from an inflammatory bowel disease lowering your chronic inflammation might help induce remission.
Medication Resistance to Colitis and Other Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
Also, the problem is when we have inflammation, we develop medication resistance and that has happened to me.
The first course of corticosteroids I took, I started at 40 milligrams a day and then they tapered down. It worked a charm, only the first one. As time went I had more and more side effects of the drugs, without the upside.
This is what happens for most patients with chronic conditions. So you will really want to lower your chronic inflammation so the medication you’re taking helps you to get back into a state of remission, and then with your doctor, you can then taper down the medication. This is what I’ve done. I’ve always worked together with my doctors, and I advise that you subscribe to the premium membership where I have a whole section dedicated to inflammatory bowel disease.
Celiac Disease and Inflammation
With celiac, it’s not just gluten you should be avoiding, it’s all inflammatory foods. I urge you to go and read the section on inflammatory bowel disease and on ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s, and diverticulitis. Go and check it out.
Also, make sure to go and read all the amazing testimonials we have received. There’s even a Doctor, Dr Peter Obeyka, a physician in New Jersey, who suffers from an inflammatory bowel condition and has used the Eat Burn Sleep platform to induce remission and live a life without medication and feeling great and full of energy.
You can check out all the videos in the video section to educate yourself on inflammation. Watch my masterclass series on the platform and start implementing these changes which are very easy to implement because my method is not a diet, it is a lifestyle.
