How to Treat PCOS Successfully

Scientific studies show that it is proven that diet and lifestyle interventions for PCOS can treat the condition successfully.

Since PCOS is a chronic inflammation condition, a holistic anti-inflammatory lifestyle successfully treats PCOS and the secondary conditions that can come with it. Diet and medication alone are not enough.

Reducing chronic inflammation, balancing hormones, and stabilizing blood sugar levels is advised. As well as regular inflammation-reducing exercise.

These will reduce PCOS symptoms and help sufferers achieve their goals of fertility, weight loss, and cosmetics, as well as protect themselves from osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease.

How to Reduce PCOS

Part of the problem of PCOS is that there is a hormonal imbalance. There is too much estrogen, too much testosterone (as well as the surrogate androgens or different versions of testosterone), and too much insulin.

Insulin is the hormone that regulates and distributes our blood sugar. All of these hormones are directly linked to what we eat. Our diets are responsible for efficacy, and the right lifestyle is imperative for healing PCOS.

With PCOS, you may have other concerns like reproductive and psychological caveats, impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular consequences, and cancer risks.

E.g., Depression often runs alongside PCOS in women (both reactive and psychologically), particularly those with hirsutism, acne, and menstrual irregularities – as it is highly distressing for many, affecting their whole lives.

This anti-inflammatory lifestyle has been proven to treat these symptoms and conditions on a systemic level for long-term results.

E.g., Eating the Eat Burn Sleep way treats neuroinflammation through gut health, reducing depression -and it advises against certain compounds found in foods, which aid in pain relief and so on. It also reduces the risk of osteoporosis, strokes, etc.

Detoxifying the liver is necessary and is significant in the Eat Burn Sleep lifestyle.

The EBS anti-inflammatory lifestyle is the best way to treat PCOS because it treats conditions at the source. Symptoms are not just masked for a while to reappear later on.

This lifestyle will reset gut health, improving gut bacteria in the microbiome. Blood sugar levels will stabilize, and insulin resistance will not be challenged due to the right foods and portions.

The liver will be detoxified (to guard against medication resistance and to achieve hormone homeostasis, for instance), and chronic inflammation – in mind and body, will be lowered.

This is all achieved through the unique protocol of anti-inflammatory movement, gut-healthy meals, neuroplasticity exercises, and reprogramming the mind.

Regular, good-quality sleep (where lots of healing occurs) is promoted on this platform and even works for people who used to have the most stubborn, long-term lousy sleep habits.

There is a personalized advice section for PCOS sufferers with extra diet guidance on what to eat, avoid, and supplement advice.

Struggled With PCOS Weight Previously

Francesca (name changed for privacy purposes) is 36, a busy Mother of two young girls that also works in the hospitality industry as a Marketing/E-commerce Manager.

Health wise, she has polycystic ovaries and had always found it a hard struggle to drop the 10kg that she wanted to.

Also, being in hospitality, with lunches and dinners to attend, it was hard to know what were the best food options for her PCOS conditions and weight issues.

Top that off with when she has very busy days (most days), she used to find herself eating the girls’ leftovers from dinner and it was a hard habit to break.

Francesca had followed Yalda on Instagram for a while because she was interested in a healthy lifestyle. Then, she kept reading the countless life-changing testimonials where people were talking about being cured of their condition and losing so much weight.

She decided to join and do the Six Week Reset.

Francesca found it clear to follow about what was allowed on the Eat Burn Sleep lifestyle and appreciated the easy, specific guide to what to eat and do for optimum health.

She found the first week quite tough but after that: ‘pretty okay because you start feeling so great that you don’t miss the unhealthy lifestyle’.

In preparation for a holiday, Francesca did the full six week reset and felt great, went on holiday and stuck with it.

Then, she lost sight of her own health as being a busy Mom and having a busy job took priority, and old unhealthy dietary patterns kicked back in, and she felt dreadful.

She was sluggish again. Her skin became clogged up. The old aches and pains kicked in. She had forgotten about all of her symptoms when she was on the Six Week Reset because they weren’t there anymore.

The memory of how it felt to be without pain and sluggishness made it an easy decision to get back on the Eat Burn Sleep anti-inflammatory lifestyle again, which was a really easy transition!

At the time of submitting this case study, she was back on week 2 and already feeling great and stated, ‘What I like about the lifestyle is that it is a way of life, and there are realistic allowances’.

NOTE: We can often lose sight of our health when we have busy lifestyles (and even when we are not busy), and not put ourselves as priority. The problem here is that everyone loses out if we are not in the best health that we can be, not just ourselves. It impacts: home life, family life, friendships, work life, holidays with people you love, and so on.

If we are unwell, have no energy, have digestive issues, weight issues, depression, anxiety, headaches, brain fog, bloating and the rest, we can’t give the same, and we can’t be the same.

We can often not recognise that we on a path to sickness, as we strive to juggle and fit everything in.

This can lead to burnout, more inflammation, more conditions and symptoms and so on.

Living a lifestyle without any symptoms and expressions of a condition is a happier one. It is also a less expensive one (the cost of being sick is extensive, in more ways than one).

Your health is your most valuable asset and you are helping others when you are helping yourself as a priority.

I am on my 4th week of the 6-week reset, and I have PCOS.

Already I’ve seen amazing results and feeling much better and lighter in my body (and mind)!

Really impressed with the quality of your work and what you’ve put into this amazing platform that you’ve created.

Thank you for that.

Leila

After 3 years of sticking (mostly) to your food guide,
I have healed my PCOS!

I just went in for hormone testing and
everything was completely normal
for the first time in my life.

Remi

I already have great improvement in terms of PMS symptoms, mood, energy & simply enjoying life!

Emma

Your protocol really helped me with some of my long covid symptoms such as diarrhea and skin rashes, and it lowered my HBA1C (average blood glucose).

Leila

I have been following the Eat Burn Sleep Lifestyle for around 5 weeks now after suffering from numerous annoying symptoms I put down to the perimenopause (which at 42 my Doctor told me I am too young to be going through).

I have always had food intolerances, headaches, and skin complaints including hormonal breakouts, and I was fed up with not feeling myself.

I have tried so many diets and lifestyles over the years and knew roughly what suited my body type but always felt like I was following a “diet” not backed by science that was limiting me, not nourishing and healing me. I wanted to give my body the best chance of avoiding severe disease in the future, reducing inflammation, and living in a healthy and mindful way.

Finding Yalda and the Eat Burn Lifestyle was the moment everything dropped into place for me!

So far I have lost weight, my skin is improving, all bloating has gone, aches and pains have improved, fatigue has reduced and I’m buzzing about finding a lifestyle I can follow easily. I know I have a day that doesn’t go to plan, I can get straight back on it without guilt.

The term ‘damage limitation’ absolutely sums up what I wanted from a healthy living lifestyle. I know I am doing something good for my body and that is extremely empowering.

The platform is user-friendly and the recipes are delicious. The whole family loves them.

Sophie

The EBS lifestyle has helped me in ways I didn’t know a diet could. I was aching all over, swollen, had dry skin, and was in a terrible mood.

I’ve seen an improvement on all fronts in the two weeks I’ve done it.

Thank you so much.

Sheika

I had a terrible hormonal imbalance; my endocrinologist put me on low-dose steroids. Whenever I would stop them, my hormones would be all over the place again.

So I went on the EBS lifestyle; a year later, all my hormones are balanced, from reducing the inflammation in my body.

Yasmin

After having followed the EBS lifestyle for almost a year, I noticed that my acne problems and eczema have completely disappeared. I have also always had digestive and chronic constipation concerns since childhood, which were regulated by following the advice of an anti-inflammatory lifestyle. On the other hand, my menstrual cycle is now regular, and my PMS has significantly reduced. I am more in tune with my body, and I understand better what makes me feel good and, on the contrary, what my body supports less well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Anais

Hey, queen! I just finished my 6-week reset and I can not begin to tell you how this has changed my life. I struggle with hormone imbalance, joint issues, depression, migraines, and obesity. I haven’t had crippling depression since I started this, I’ve lost 12lbs so far, I can bend my thumb for the first time in months (I have a trigger finger), I don’t remember the last time I had a migraine, and hormones are still balancing out but my periods are starting to come back to normal. I was so skeptical trying what I thought was just another “diet” but I was so desperate for help I needed to try something. This has truly become a lifestyle for me and the mental clarity it brings is just truly off the charts. Thank you so much for this and for constantly bringing the awesome content and recipes you do! I have never felt deprived or like I was missing out on anything and just live my life a little bit better. Seriously, thank you!

Ashley

I have started the EBS lifestyle 7 months ago. I have a couple of pre-existing fibroids and 4 months ago, at my gyne check-up, they were both around 4cm. I did another ultrasound today and they shrunk to 1.5cm and the other to 2.3 cm.

I’m so relieved and I’m confident the lifestyle has helped, which I follow 80/20.

Thank you thank you, thank you!! Bless you, for all you do.

Claudia

(name changed for privacy purposes)

The lifestyle has been the best thing ever for my PCOS.

Georgeena

I am happy to say that the lifestyle helped me with my issues with menopause.

I lost 12lbs and I have a flat stomach. It is very hard to maintain and lose weight during menopause. Hot flashes have gotten better also.

Thank you so much for all your work Yalda!

Mona

You have changed my life! I am so thankful for you and your platform!

Suffering from PCOS made it a huge struggle for me to shift my tummy weight! I was doing everything I thought was right but my body wasn’t agreeing! When I surprisingly got pregnant I didn’t stop eating. But! My baby is 5 months old now!

I committed to the EBS lifestyle when she turned 7 weeks old!

I’m over 6kgs down, I feel energized and motivated every single day!

I’m obsessed with your recipes and can’t wait for my baby Marwa to start tasting them with me too!

Thank you soooo much and can’t wait to continue my journey with you!

Georgina

I love how I feel when I’m on the lifestyle. My energy levels are high. I don’t feel hungry or have any sweet cravings like I used to.

Being perimenopausal, my hormones are more balanced, and my hot flushes are gone! I sleep better and don’t wake up at night. It’s amazing. I actually slept for 8 hours straight the other night.

I started last November, and now I just do it 80/20 most of the time, a little more strict if I need to reset and lose more weight. I can definitely see the difference when I fall off the wagon and indulge! Even my brain shuts down, and I can’t think clearly when I don’t follow the guidance!

I have loved every recipe I have tried so far and look forward to trying out more.

Yalda, you have opened my eyes to many new things, including taking a walk first thing in the morning and meditating. All your advice is thoroughly researched, and sound and one only has to try it to see the results for themselves.

What you talk about makes sense, and I love the masterclasses and learn new things from watching them.

I find this lifestyle invaluable for my health and will be renewing my membership once it expires. Thank you!

Mandy

I had been having digestive issues for 3 years. I couldn’t eat anything without looking 6m pregnant. I saw all kinds of specialists, did endoscopies, colonoscopies, took so many supplements, changed my workout regimen, stopped drinking, almost stopped living happily – even did a nutrition course at IIN, but no one highlighted the importance of inflammation.

Since discovering EBS over 2 years ago I feel like a new human. No more migraines, way more energy, rarely ever bloated, and just happier eating, not being scared I won’t be able to walk after a meal. I eat double what I used to eat!

Thank you Yalda for making sense and teaching me the simple yet powerful things thousands of pounds couldn’t achieve and getting my health back.
