Steve Burns
Are You in a Codependent Relationship?
In this fascinating episode, Steve Burns joins me, and we talk about decoding codependency in relationships and life. Steve is an Emotional Coach & Addiction Specialist and is the founder of the Therapy Lounge in London.
I have had previous talks with Steve on the EBS platform, and many participants reached out to him for help following the podcasts. This episode will deconstruct the concept of co-dependent relationships and how individuals in those relationships identify themselves.

Less stress leads to lower inflammation levels
Keep a mental note that happiness and less stress lead to lower inflammation levels and, as a result, this leads to longevity; and less chance of disease.
Happiness is an inside job. If you work on the basis that your happiness is your responsibility, it is a fact that the happier you are, the better your life will be.
Look at yourself with compassion and self-care.
It is not about perfection; it is about nurturing our body and mind. Be kind to yourself.
As Steve says (repeat out loud),
“If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness.”
Steve is so inspirational. You may also be interested in listening to Steve Burns talk about the mind-body connection and how to get past self-pity and take action to feel your best!
