This is delicious, filling, and comforting hot chocolate with added health benefits rather than nasties!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup or 240ml coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup (or stevia to taste)

Directions

  1. Add the coconut milk to a saucepan and add the maca powder. Stir well to combine.

  2. Put the saucepan on a low heat and whisk until the maca powder has fully dissolved.

  3. In your drinking mug add the cacao powder and the maple syrup with a tablespoon of the warmed milk. Stir until a paste is formed.

  4. Slowly pour in the rest of the milk and gently stir.

  5. Consume once slightly cooled.
