From Diagnosis to Remission – How EBS Supported My Healing Journey!
I have followed Yalda and been a member of Eat Burn Sleep since 2019. I followed the Reset and the lifestyle on and off until December 2022, to manage IBS, when I sensed something was wrong with my body.
In January 2023, I decided to commit fully to the lifestyle again. Around that time, I found a lump in my right breast during a self-exam, which led to a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis later that month.
As soon as I found the lump, I not only restarted Week 1 of the lifestyle, but I also implemented all the cancer-support protocols available on the platform. I reached out to the team and began working with Yalda as my nutrition coach.
In parallel, I underwent an aggressive treatment plan with my oncology team: 16 chemotherapy sessions, surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation. Yalda and the EBS program were instrumental throughout.
Thanks to the lifestyle, chemotherapy—while never easy—was far more manageable. My gut and liver were in such a good place that my body could truly focus on healing. My lab work remained almost normal throughout, and my doctors were consistently surprised by how positive and well I felt, even after months of treatment. I was able to continue working and moving my body gently, which helped me stay strong.
Yalda supported me at every step: encouraging positivity, meditation, movement when possible, clean anti-inflammatory eating, and visualizing remission daily. She even did extra research to support my case.
Today, I’m in remission. I’ve completed chemotherapy and surgery and am continuing with immunotherapy and radiation. I remain committed to the Eat Burn Sleep lifestyle and am transitioning from the strict Week 1 protocol to a more balanced 80/20 approach while rebuilding my strength through movement.
